America is not your home.
Heaven is your home.
That’s what Paul was telling the Philippians in III:XX (3:20) of his letter to them. You are here for a short while visiting. But you are (present tense) a citizen of Heaven.
The political issues of our day carry enormous weight. Supporting justice and shunning injustice is a result of following Jesus. But even the most important human rights issues are no substitute for following God.
Our hope is not found in a President or a law or a political party. Our hope is found in God.
