Design Description
Ever heard the phrase, “God is my co-pilot”?
On the surface, it seems like a fine thing to say — you and God are in this together. You both know what you’re doing and either one of you can fly the plane. Sometimes He takes the wheel and something you do, right?
Wrong.
Our lives are not our own. We don’t get to tell God where He can and can’t go. God isn’t a co-pilot. He is everything. The God of the Universe who made flowers, oceans, mountains, and shooting stars isn’t on equal footing with you and me.
God isn’t my co-pilot. God is the pilot.
That isn't a typo. God ISN'T my co-pilot. He is not mine. He isn't yours.
How ridiculous is that phrase? The God of the universe who created atoms, the moon, superstorms, ants, light, dolphins, somehow this invisible, omnipotent, omnipresent God is OUR co-pilot.
That is INSANE.
God isn't my co-pilot. He isn't anyone's co-pilot. He is the king of the universe and requires assistance from none of us. He is the pilot. The only pilot of all of human history.
