LXI:III means 61:3 and that’s the chapter and verse in Isaiah that contains one of the most encouraging promises that God has for us:
“...to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.”
God knows that we can get tired or that tragedy can strike and leave us deeply saddened. And his remedy is this promise — that He will take our death and exchange it for life everlasting.
